| How and what can you do to help surviving spouse and children? Speaker: By Dr Indu Gambhir About the Speaker: Dr Indu Gambhir is a medical practitioner. In her practice through many years of Emergency medicine and family practice and counselling, she has seen that many patients do not make essential preparations for long-term illness or death. She will talk about how all family members should prepare their surviving spouses and grown up children about vital treatment decisions and documentation for handling the family affairs by the surviving spouse and children. – The two instructors provided their services on a voluntary basis

Transportation Assistance Service
1) Shared Taxi service to and from the venue of the event, provided to a limited number of Deshantari seniors with mobility issues during Saraswati Puja celebration events at the Tom Brown Arena, 141 Bayview Rd, Ottawa, ON K1Y 4M3.
SPCO funds to use
– These seniors are long standing members of Deshantari, who have mobility issues that prevent them from driving or taking OCTranspo,
-Without this assistance it would be impossible for them to attend these key religious and cultural events.
-Response from the seniors assisted was extremely positive.
